研究：金融知识可以帮助增长个人财富

AUT大学教授新的研究表明，对金融知识的了解可以增长个人财富25%
该研究基于对荷兰家庭中收集到的475人的纵向数据，即将从2011年测算记录到的的金融知识和他们2019年取得的财务成果相联系。

该研究表明，在2011年其金融知识多出1个百分点的，其年收入相对于样本中的平均收入增长12%，其储蓄数额相对于样本的平均储蓄数额增长25%。这与已存在的预测一致，即由于金融知识的差异，退休时的财富差距可能高达40%。

那些在2011年投资于金融知识的人在8年后仍然受益于其获得的金融知识
具备金融知识的年轻人往往收入更高，而老年人更有可能积累更多的储蓄
男性的金融知识与高收入和高储蓄有很强的关联性，而女性则没有显著的关联。
现有的研究亦表明，女性的金融知识水平低于男性
该研究为政府把金融知识课程引入学校的做法提供了支持。该教学可能从2027年小学一年级开始。

该研究成果适用于新西兰。这对KiwiSaver来说同样重要。如果新西兰人在退休储蓄方面接受更有针对性的金融知识教育，他们的KiwiSavir的余额可能会大不相同。
